Hi, I’m Chris Wallish. I’ve had a hand in communications work since I joined my middle school newspaper. Since then, I’ve:
- Clerked at my hometown paper, where I wrote the most popular column — the obits;
- Staffed the front desk in the UW News Office for nine years, where I also compiled and edited the daily “UW in the Media” clips newsletter (I even received a fan mail once!);
- Managed communications for the Washington NASA Space Grant program. Yes, I’ve met astronauts, been to HQ, and toured behind the scenes at Houston Space Center. And, yes, it was absolutely cool as fuck. 🚀
Currently my focus is on contract work. Extremely occasionally I’m available for short-term freelance opportunities. If I do have space for a freelance job, I’ll post a contact method on this page.
